LIC gets ₹500 cr anchor allocation in Jio Platforms IPO

LIC received the largest individual allocation in Jio Platforms' IPO anchor book — 44.68 lakh shares worth ₹499.98 crore at Rs 1,119 each, a 6.17% share of the anchor portion. Jio Platforms raised ₹8,110 crore from anchor investors ahead of its ₹30,188-crore IPO, opening October 21–23, 2026.
