LIC overtakes SBI to become India's most valuable PSU

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has reclaimed its position as the most valuable listed public sector undertaking on Wednesday as its market capitalisation rose to ₹5.74 lakh crore. It overtook State Bank of India's (SBI) ₹5.62-lakh crore market capitalisation. This comes after LIC shares crossed their listing price of ₹867 for first time in nearly two years on Tuesday.
