LIC share price down 11% from IPO price, falls for 3rd straight day

Life Insurance Corporation's (LIC) share price fell 4.12% to ₹840.25 on Thursday, taking the total drop in LIC's share price to 11.45% from its IPO issue price. The insurer's shares were listed on the stock market on Tuesday at a price of ₹867, against the IPO issue price of ₹949. The ₹21,000-crore public issue was oversubscribed nearly three times.
