LIC to invest ₹1.3 lakh crore in stock market in FY25

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is looking to make fresh investments of ₹1.30 lakh crore in equities during FY25, LIC's CEO & MD Siddhartha Mohanty said. During April-June, LIC made an investment of ₹38,000 crore in shares. It earned a profit of ₹15,500 crore from its investments in equity markets during the quarter, registering a 13.5% rise quarter-on-quarter.
