Licence plate number '0001' auctioned for ₹23 lakh in Delhi

The licence plate number ending with ‘0001’ fetched Delhi Transport Department ₹23.4 lakh in an auction in March, TOI reported citing the department’s data, making the number the costliest licence number sold this year. The number ‘0007’ was sold for ₹10.8 lakh in January while ‘0005’ fetched ₹6.2 lakh in March. Base price of ‘0001’ number’s auction was ₹5 lakh.
