The life expectancy of people in China improved to 77.93 years, with the main health indicators ranking among the top of middle and high-income nations, said the country's National Health Commission (NHC) on Tuesday. In 2019, the life expectancy in the country stood at 77.3 years, while it was just 35 years in 1949.
