What began as a complaint over a ₹2 lakh diversion from the LIFE Mission housing scheme in Pathanamthitta has now opened up a much larger investigation, with police suspecting that more than ₹70 lakh was siphoned off from two grama panchayats and that the fraud may extend to a third.
