Lifeguards rescue 10-yr-old caught in powerful waves at US beach

Lifeguards rescued a 10-year-old boy after he was caught in powerful waves while surfing at a beach in US' California. A 16-year-old lifeguard rushed into the water and held onto the boy while battling hard waves before other people and a lifeguard helped rescue the pair. The boy was then examined by paramedics before being released to his parents.
