Lightning Kills Animals and One Woman in Bangalore

On Friday, in Ganagalu hamlet in Hoskote on the outskirts of Bengaluru, a woman was struck by lightning and instantly perished. In the afternoon, Bengaluru and the neighboring areas experienced strong gusts, thunder, and moderate rain. Rathnamma, 55, of Ganagalu has been identified as the dead. About 2:00 pm, she was struck by lightning as her goats were grazing.
