Heavy rain and lightning damaged around four houses in Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode, injuring 60-year-old Geetha. A motor switchboard reportedly exploded, and its fragments struck her face. The lightning also damaged electrical wiring, motors, fans and lights, while a wall collapsed at one house. KSEB officials disconnected the power supply to prevent further danger.
