Lightspeed raises new $500 mn fund for India, Southeast Asia

Lightspeed Venture Partners, a Silicon-valley headquartered firm, has announced the closure of its $500 million fund dedicated to India and Southeast Asia. Lightspeed has invested in OYO, Udaan, BYJU'S, Razorpay, and ShareChat and looks to further invest in early-stage startups. The new fund comes from a $7 billion capital that the VC firm has raised to invest in startups globally.
