Like 'Dr' for doctors, teachers can now use 'Tr' prefix in Karnataka

Just like doctors use 'Dr' and professors use 'Prof', teachers in Karnataka can now use 'Tr' as a prefix before their names, CM DK Shivakumar announced on Teachers' Day. "It may be only two letters, but it represents a lifetime of service," he said. "'Tr' is more than a title...it's an honour you have truly earned," he added.
