Like bargaining at saree shop: Mamata on govt cutting excise duty

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee took a dig at Centre, comparing their decision to cut excise duty on petrol and diesel to "bargaining" in a saree shop. She said, "This is like going for shopping in a saree store...If you ask a saree's price...he'll perhaps tell you ₹1000...But after bargaining...he agrees to ₹400." She added, "Similarly, they've increased gas prices."
