Like post-nuclear test sanctions in 1998, this too shall pass: Goyal on Trump's tariffs

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said India and the US "will continue to be friends" as their relationship is the "most consequential" in today's world. He said the current tariff situation is like how the US sanctioned India following its nuclear test in 1998. "This will also pass as and when there's a deeper understanding of the situation," Goyal added.
