Lindt chocolates accused of having dangerous lead & cadmium levels

Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli is facing a class-action lawsuit over alleged dangerous levels of heavy metals lead and cadmium found in its dark chocolate bars. The lawsuit follows a report by US' Consumer Reports. Denying the allegations, Lindt's lawyers said phrases like "excellence" and "expertly crafted" on its packaging were "puffery" and legal action can't be taken against this.
