Lionel Messi's net worth has crossed the $1 billion mark, according to a Bloomberg analysis. This makes him the second footballer after Cristiano Ronaldo to join the billionaire club. Bloomberg said the Argentine star has earned more than $700 million in salary and bonuses since 2007, in addition to income from investments and sponsorships.
