Lionel Messi is great to watch, but he's not God: Pope Francis

Pope Francis has said that five-time Ballon d'Or winner and his compatriot Lionel Messi is great to watch but he is not God. "In theory, [calling Messi God] is sacrilege]," he added. "You can't say it and I don't believe it. I think people say 'he is God' just as they say 'I adore you'," he further said.
