Argentine football legend Lionel Messi's father and longtime agent Jorge Messi passed away aged 68 in Argentina's Rosario on Friday night after a prolonged illness. During the FIFA World Cup 2026, speculation about Jorge's health had surfaced, after which the family urged for privacy, saying he was recovering from a health issue.
