In order to prevent the 'dry state' tag from draining Gujarat's tourism inflow, the state government has started offering liquor permit services at the Vadodara and Bhuj airports. The decision was taken to do away with the lengthy process of getting a permit. The service was started in March, and about 10-15 permits are being issued each day at Vadodara.
