Liquor sale rises 15-fold YoY in dry state Gujarat's GIFT City

Dry Gujarat recorded a sharp rise in liquor sales at GIFT City, with volumes increasing 1,424% year-on-year to 56,638 litres in 2025-26. GIFT City in Gandhinagar has been allowed regulated "Wine and Dine" facilities under specified terms. Liquor sales stood at 3,716 litres between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025, before rising 15-fold to 56,638 litres.
