Liquor sales in Kerala cross ₹770 crore in first 8 days of Onam

Liquor sales through the state-run Kerala State Beverages Corporation (Bevco) have crossed ₹770 crore in Kerala in eight days out of a total of ten days of Onam. This marks a sharp rise from the ₹694.96 crore recorded during the same period of last year's Onam celebrations. Liquor worth ₹126.31 crore was sold just in a single day, on 'Uthradam'.
