List of countries with high human development released, India ranks 134th

India has ranked 134 among 193 nations on the UN's Human Development Index (HDI), with Switzerland on top. Norway, Iceland, Hong Kong and Denmark are also among the top five best performing nations on the index. Germany and Ireland have both ranked seventh on the index, followed by Singapore, and Australia and Netherlands on the tenth position.
