List of states with most & least domestic violence against women released

As per the National Family Health Survey-5 report, 29% women (of 18-49 age group) in India faced domestic violence. Accordingly, 44.4% women reported domestic violence in Karnataka, 40% in Bihar, 39.6% in Manipur, 38% in Tamil Nadu and 36.9% in Telangana. Lakshadweep (1.3%), Goa (8.3%), Kerala (9.9%), Sikkim (12%) and Meghalaya (16%) reported the least domestic violence against women.
