List of top Indian state/UT destinations for foreign tourists in 2021 released

Ministry of Tourism has released India Tourism Statistics 2022, ranking the states and UTs in foreign tourist visits during 2021. Punjab ranked first with 3,08,135 foreign tourist visits, followed by Maharashtra (1,85,643) and Delhi (1,00,178). The next on the list were Karnataka (72,487), Kerala (60,487), Tamil Nadu (57,622), UP (44,737), MP (41,601), West Bengal (34,828) and Rajasthan (34,806).
