List of world's happiest countries released; Israel in top 10 despite war with Iran

Finland has been ranked world's happiest country in the World Happiness Report 2026, followed by Iceland, Denmark, Costa Rica and Sweden. Israel has been ranked 8th on the list despite its ongoing war with Iran. Norway, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland have been ranked 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th, respectively. India has been ranked 116th on the list.
