Lithuania bans usage of letter 'Z' amid Russian invasion of Ukraine

Lithuania on Tuesday banned the public displays of the letter 'Z' and other signs that symbolise support for Russia amid Ukraine's invasion. The letter 'Z' has been used as a marking on Russian military equipment participating in the war. Lithuanian lawmakers have also reportedly approved that fines for breaching the ban should be raised to €900 for individuals (over ₹74,000).
