Live-in couple married to different people granted police protection by Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court granted police protection to a live-in couple who left their respective spouses, while saying, "The fundamental rights of any citizen cannot be compromised under any circumstances." Lawyer Lakshay Sharma said both petitioners were from Mumbai and one of them shifted to Hyderabad. After being pressurised by family members, the petitioner moved to Delhi and approached HC.
