LNG prices in UK jump 107% in just 2 days amid Middle East war

Natural gas prices in UK doubled in just two days since the start of the Middle East war, which disrupted fuel supplies. The prices of natural gas jumped 107% from £0.7857/thm (₹96.20) on February 27 to £1.6325/thm (₹199.78) in intraday trade on Tuesday. This comes as Iran threatened to set fire to ships that pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
