Local bandits set homes on fire in Madagascar; 32 people killed

At least 32 people were killed after local bandits, known as 'dahalo', set homes on fire in Madagascar's capital city of Antananarivo, according to the country's Defence Ministry. "People here experienced a real tragedy...many lives were lost," Defence Minister General Richard Rakotonirina said on Saturday. He added that security forces have been deployed in the area to catch the perpetrators.
