Local politics: Som Distilleries MD on child labour in MP factory

Speaking on over 50 children being found working at Som Distilleries' factory in Madhya Pradesh, MD Jagdish Kumar Arora said it's all "local politics". "When in small places you have a big industry, local forces are sometimes operative...People in the area...are extraordinarily happy," he said. A report said children worked 11-hour shifts at the factory.
