Locals declare 'Village for Sale' in Maharashtra amid water crisis

Residents of Tulshi village in Maharashtra's Solapur have put up a banner declaring "Village for Sale" amid a water crisis. The 7,000 residents said years of government plans and assurances haven't brought relief from the crisis. "By putting up the board saying 'Village for Sale, Price: Water', we're trying to draw...government's attention to our plight," said Tulshi sarpanch Sharad More.
