Locals in Kerala's Kannur beat up PFI activists for imposing strike

PFI activists were reportedly beaten up in Kerala's Kannur when they tried to close shops as part of their strike. Locals reacted angrily to a group of PFI supporters and even chased down one of the protestors to hand him over to the police. Other political party members had reportedly joined the local people to take on PFI.
