Lockdown in Australia's biggest city Sydney extended by 4 weeks

Australia's biggest city, Sydney, on Wednesday extended a COVID-19 lockdown for further four weeks as the virus cases continue to rise. Sydney's five million residents have been under stay-at-home orders since late June due to an outbreak of the Delta coronavirus variant. So far, more than 2,500 people have been infected in the city's worst outbreak this year.
