Lockdown to be imposed in Karnataka every Sunday from July 5

The Karnataka government today announced that lockdown would be imposed in the state every Sunday, with effect from July 5. No activities shall be permitted on that day except essential services and supplies, it added. Further, the night curfew timings will be changed to 8 pm to 5 am from 9 pm to 5 am with effect from June 29.
