Lok Sabha passes VB G RAM G Bill to replace MGNREGA, opposition tears Bill

Viksit Bharat- Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB G RAM G) Bill, 2025 that'll replace MGNREGA, was passed in the Parliament's lower house on Thursday, amid uproar from the opposition. Members of opposition parties were seen tearing a copy of the bill and throwing it at Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Lok Sabha was adjourned amid uproar.
