Lok sabha polls: Assam's women voters dominate all constituencies

Phase I of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 kickstarted today, April 19. In Assam, the number of women voters came out in large numbers and surpassed men in all five constituencies. Reports state that some women began queueing up at the stations even before 5 a.m. to exercise their franchise.
