Lollipops being waved at people: HC to Delhi govt on water supply promise

Commenting on Delhi government's election promises of 24-hour water supply and drinking water from tap, Delhi High Court said that these are all lollipops waved at the people. "Why are you supplying through tankers...not through water lines?" the court asked. HC was hearing a suo motu petition related to mosquito breeding and the spread of vector-borne diseases in Delhi.
