London Stock Exchange to introduce nonstop trading next year
The London Stock Exchange has announced plans to launch LSE 24, a night-time trading site for select exchange-traded products, in 2027's first half. Operating separately from its main market, LSE 24 will run from 5 pm to 7:50 am (London time). The move is aimed at offering "near-continuous trading" and competing with the 24/7 trading model popularised by crypto platforms.
