London-based Indian origin restaurateur features in UK's New Year Honours List 2022

Amritpal Singh Maan, a philanthropist who has provided over 2 lakh meals to the needy since the pandemic began, has been awarded OBE for his services to charity and community. He's among those honoured by the Queen in the New Year Honours List 2022. He's the MD of London's Punjab Restaurant, established in 1946, as the UK's first-ever Punjabi restaurant.
