L'Oréal files for 17 virtual goods-related trademarks in NFT, metaverse categories
Cosmetics brand L'Oréal has filed for 17 virtual goods-related trademarks in the non-fungible token (NFT) and metaverse categories, as per filings. The filings were in the names of L'Oréal's subsidiaries, including Kiehl’s and Maybelline. L’Oréal mentioned "providing a metaverse for people to browse, accumulate, buy, sell and trade virtual cosmetics" in eight of the filings, CoinDesk reported.
