Loss of lives averted due to world-class tech: RMC Chennai on Stalin’s remark

Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai has said that the loss of lives in Tamil Nadu amid cyclone Michaung was averted due to world-class equipment. This comes after Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin had said that the India Meteorological Department failed to predict the accurate amount of rainfall in its forecast for several districts that witnessed 'historic' rains, which led to waterlogging.
