Lost and Found: New species of earthworm uncovered

Researchers from the Zoological Survey of India and Mahatma Gandhi University have discovered Drawida incomparabilis, a new earthworm species hidden deep within the evergreen and deciduous forests of the Western Ghats. Alongside this, they also successfully re-collected Drawida loricata, a rare earthworm species that had vanished from scientific records for 81 years.
