Lost for 189 yrs, rare plant species refound in Arunachal Pradesh

A rare plant species endemic to Arunachal Pradesh has been rediscovered after around 189 years. Henckelia monophylla, first collected by British botanist William Griffith in 1836, was discovered by a team from the Botanical Survey of India (BSI) in Lohit district. It's a perennial herb that typically thrives in moist forest habitats and bears delicate tubular or funnel-shaped flowers.
