Lou Gerstner, CEO known for rescuing IBM, dies aged 83

IBM's former Chairman and CEO Lou Gerstner passed away on Saturday at the age of 83. Gerstner, who led the tech giant from 1993 to 2002, is known for rescuing the company when it was on the verge of bankruptcy. "Lou arrived...when the company's future was genuinely uncertain...His leadership during that period reshaped the company," IBM CEO Arvind Krishna said.
