Loud sound heard amid Republic Day celebrations in Guwahati, police examining it

A loud sound was heard at truck parking near Brahmaputra vegetable market in Assam's Guwahati, which police is examining. A vegetable market employee said, "We came running out. There was no injury or damage to any property." Locals claimed a similar sound was heard in Rehabari but police denied it. Banned outfit ULFA (I) reportedly claimed responsibility for the 'blasts'.
