Louvre Museum to add 100 external cameras after $100-million heist

France's Louvre Museum will install 100 external cameras by the end of 2026 as part of measures to tighten security after last month's heist, said director Laurence Des Cars. The museum has also increased security with Paris police by installing an "advanced police station within the Louvre's estate". Four individuals stole jewels worth $102 million on October 19.
