Lovlina becomes 1st Indian woman boxer to reach back-to-back Asiad finals

India's 28-year-old boxer Lovlina Borgohain advanced to the women's 75kg final after defeating reigning world champion Natalya Bogdanova at the Asian Games 2026. The Olympic bronze medallist defeated the Kazakhstani boxer 3-2 in the semi-final. With the win, she became the first Indian woman boxer to reach back-to-back Asian Games finals.
