Comedian Jimmy Kimmel, while taking a dig at US President Donald Trump, tweeted, "Lowest rated President in HISTORY." This was a reply to Trump's jibe at the low ratings of the 90th Academy Awards, hosted by Kimmel. This year, the Academy Awards drew an average 26.5 million viewers as compared to 33 million viewers in 2017.
