LPG production increased by 30%: Govt amid shortage fears

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said Indian refineries are producing 30% more LPG than on March 5. Earlier, production was increased by 25% to stabilise supply amid fears of shortages during the Middle East war. Additionally, commercial cylinders have been placed at the disposal of state governments to facilitate priority distribution, Joint Secretary Sujata Sharma said.
