LS polls: Karnataka Muslims vow to vote en bloc for Congress

Despite reservations about the ruling Congress in Karnataka, Muslims are likely to support it in the LS polls to prevent Hindutva forces from gaining national power. The Karnataka chapter of Ulema Emreath Shariat, representing the community, has conveyed this decision to around 2,000 mosques. While not enamoured with Congress, they view it as the better alternative to BJP and JD(S).
